A quick note from Chef Julia on our delivery policies - please read!

Hi there! I wanted to make sure you're up to date on the changes happening over here at Nourish World Headquarters to make sure we're being as safe as possible while delivering your nourishment during the COVID-19 situation.

We've been communicating via the blog, our Mailchimp emails and social media the last few weeks - but I wanted to triple check that you know the hows and whys of the changes taking place.

Reusable bags:
We have been instructed by our Health Department rep to mothball our reusable bags for the time being. If your driver left it on your doorstep this last week, that's why! Please hold onto them for the time being and we will snag them once all this hoopla is over. We are now using post-consumer recycled paper bags and ice packs to deliver your food. Concerned they don't keep your nosh as cool as you'd like? Then please read on!
Keeping your food cool:
Our drivers will use any cooler you leave out for us (our reusable ones included) IF IT CONTAINS FROZEN ICE when we arrive. If there is only a cooler and NO ICE when we get to your address, our policy is to leave things in our bags, since a cooler sans ice packs is a hotter environment than the ambient temperature. We would love to leave your food in a cooler - but please make sure it is cold.
Changes to delivery instructions? Happy to make them for you!
If you need to changes what happens when we deliver your bags, we need to know what to do! Please feel free to respond to this email with any requests for delivery note changes. Examples could be "text me when the drop has been made" or "ring doorbell" or "call me 5 minutes out" - right now, we do not ring bells by default, so do let us know if you'd like us to. 
#5 Plastic Recycling Program:
This program is unfortunately on pause for now, thanks, also, to recommendations from our local HD rep. But we will be back! Keep them for the time being and we will grab all your delivery containers and recycle them properly for you, once this chaotic period is behind us.
Ice packs - yes, we do want them!
The only materials your delivery driver is instructed to grab from your abode right now is our reusable gel and foam ice packs. Why, you ask, are we only taking those back? Because they are impermeable surfaces that we can properly sanitize in a bleach bath before storing. We cannot do the same with our bags, unfortunately. So! Leave them out in any way you see fit (on the ground near your front door, in paper or plastic bag, etc) and we will snag and reuse. Thank you for helping us stay as environmentally friendly as possible during these trying times.
