Help us bring Veganism to the James Beard House in NYC!
November 21, 20191 min read
Around this time every year, the James Beard House in NYC asks people to vote for people and places that are shaping the American culinary landscape.
Only problem is, they're notoriously non-vegan friendly. Are you ready to change that?
We think we can get Charlotte on their radar for the plant-strong city it is this year, but we need your help. And, your votes!
This year, we'd like you to nominate Chef Julia for the Leadership Award. We think she's done a lot to make the Queen City a healthier and more vegan-aware city, and continues to push Charlotte towards a more sustainable and vegetable-centric existence. Her work on Plant Plant (Charlotte's newest vegan commissary), as well as her role as acting president of Charlotte Vegfest, adds to that list too.
What say you? Can we get you to take a second and fill out this nomination form? Let's show 'em the South is serious about veganism. Nominate Chef J today! And act quickly - voting is only open until December 1st.
You'll need to register here first, then fill out the form. The paragraph answer can be as long or short as you'd like, no worries there.
For affiliations and social handles, just put Nourish Charlotte. For contact, you can put firstname.lastname@example.org. And for rationale, well, we will leave that up to you!
Thank you for taking the time, we truly appreciate you!
